Why did I chose the Semi-skeleton black Sellita SW200-1 movement for the KWR XCT-1

Why did I chose the Semi-skeleton black Sellita SW200-1 movement for the KWR XCT-1

? ️ Why did I chose the Sellita SW200-1 Semi-Skeleton movement for the KWR XCT-1

When I imagined the first KWR watch, I didn't just want to create a timepiece.
I wanted to capture a mechanical emotion - a visible, raw, alive beat.
I needed a watchmaking heart up to this vision: reliable, prestigious, rare ... and above all, expressive.

This is how Sellita SW200-1 Semi-Skeleton Noir has imposed itself.

?? High precision Swiss mechanics

manufactured in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the cradle of Swiss watchmaking, the SW200-1 is recognized for its robustness, reliability and precision.
derived from the legendary ETA 2824, it was perfected by Sellita: 26 rubies, 28800 alternations per hour, a 38 -hour power reserve - a safe bet.

but what touched me is its black semi-skeleton version . It reveals the heart of the movement, its openwork bridges, the oscillator in action. A mechanical that breathes, and that lives before your eyes.

? A rarity… still sublimated

already unusual, this semi-played black version is rarely used in commercial watches-and almost never in independent micro-marchs.
but I wanted to go even further: Each movement is equipped with bluish screws , a finish reserved for high watchmaking.
This detail, discreet but noble, transforms the mechanism into a work of art.
Each piece thus becomes unique, precious and authentic.

❤️ A total tribute to the watchmaking kinematics

at Kwr, we do not hide the movement - we celebrate it.
The sellita caliber is staged, framed by an openwork carbon, and visible on both sides thanks to the double sapphire glass.
It accompanies your gestures. He lives with you. He tells a story.

? KWR does not follow trends. She traces her own trajectory.

This choice of movement is a bet: that of requirement, aesthetic functionality, and the watchmaking character.
This is a piece that we look at, listen, that we feel.

if you like sincere, daring watchmaking, and you believe in projects that have a soul…
Follow Kwr. This is just the beginning.
